Gavin Thomas appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with the matter. The 35-year-old pled guilty to possession of the Class A drug. The offence took place at an address on Cornhill Drive in Aberdeen on July 11 2017. Fiscal depute Gavin Letford told the court Thomas was found with 2g of the drug, estimated to have a street value of approximately £130. He added the illegal substance was found when police officers executed a drug search warrant at the address. Defence agent John Ferrie said his client, of Seaton Close, Wolverhampton, had been in Aberdeen for the weekend. He added the personal trainer had the drugs for personal use.
