She added: “The accused Paxton was spotted on CCTV carrying a large shopping bag and entering a nearby cinema. Police went into the particular screen and he stood up and stated ‘it’s me you are looking for’.”
Defence agent Michael Burnett said Paxton, of Brassey Street, Glasgow, had issues with alcohol and committed the offences to fund that, while Green, of Drumchapel Road, Glasgow, his partner, had been driving as he was disqualified.
Sheriff Ian Wallace handed them both 100 hours of unpaid work.
