A man has denied driving dangerously in Aberdeen city centre.
Andrew Friel, 28, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court facing three charges over an alleged incident on Windmill Brae, Langstane Place, Dee Street, and roads in between on May 6.
He is alleged to have repeatedly driven dangerously, including at excessive speeds and overtaking another vehicle causing it to take evasive action.
Friel is further accused of failing to keep a proper lookout, not giving way at a crossroads, swerving into oncoming traffic and crashing with a taxi, causing damage to it.
He is further charged with failing to stop and provide his name and address and failing to report it to police.
Friel, of Maidstone Road, Kent, has denied the charges.
He is due to appear again in February for a preliminary hearing and for trial in March.
