A woman has admitted stealing a portable hard drive from a north-east electrical store.
Lisa McLellan or Forbes was not present at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday for the hearing.
The 44-year-old pled guilty by letter to stealing the hard drive from Currys in Inverurie Retail Park on August 23.
Depute fiscal Alan Townsend told the court the item was valued at £174.99. It was recovered following the incident.
Mr Townsend added Forbes had removed the security tags from the portable hard drive.
Sheriff Ian Wallace deferred sentence on Forbes, whose address was given in court papers as Rothie Park in Rothienorman, for her to be present. She will appear in court again next month.
