A man spat at a nurse and assaulted a security guard after being taken to hospital in Aberdeen due to his drunken state.
Lukas Cesnius, 24, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court over the matter, which happened in the early hours of October 31.
Depute fiscal Alan Townsend said: “The accused was taken to hospital, arriving at about 12.30am. That was due to his level of intoxication.
“At about 3am, members of staff felt the accused was fit to be discharged. At that stage he was told to stop spitting on the floor and to use the bowl provided by the charge nurse.
“The accused took umbrage at that and spat towards her, narrowly missing her.
“Thereafter a security guard at the locus, along with his colleague, attended to escort the accused out of the building.”
On leaving, Cesnius pushed one security guard against a wall with both hands.

Cesnius, of Covenanters Drive, Aberdeen, pled guilty to spitting at a nurse and pushing the guard.
Defence agent Les Green said his client had taken “solace in a bottle of gin to the extent he was taken to hospital” after hearing of an issue in his family.
He said: “He had drunk gin that day, something he does not normally drink.
“He’s dreadfully ashamed of his behaviour. This appears to be totally out of character.”
Sheriff Ian Wallace ordered Cesnius to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within four months.
