A drunken reveller threatened to have door staff stabbed after they refused to let him into an Aberdeen nightclub.
Ricky Walker, 28, turned aggressive when bouncers at the Underground Klub would not let him in due to his “heavily intoxicated state” at 2.20am on September 16.
Yesterday he was fined £600 when he appeared in front of Sheriff Ian Wallace at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
Fiscal depute Felicity Merson said: “He pointed his finger at the door stewards and made threatening gestures with his arms, walking back and forth between the locus and the pavement on the other side of the street.”
Police arrived shortly after and heard Walker telling the bouncers he had “a lot of friends” and they would be “stabbed”.
Ms Merson added Walker was “warned to desist but his aggressive behaviour continued” and he used a homophobic term.

Defence agent Les Green said his client had a “limited record”. He added: “He apologises for it.”
