Olivia Rennie, known as Ritchie, made off with three boxes of homebakes worth £6.39 from Nisa on Mid Street, Fraserburgh. The 20-year-old was seen by shop staff and a police officer caught up with her. On being searched a quantity of heroin was also found on her. Ritchie pled guilty to stealing foodstuff and also possession of heroin worth around £40. Defence agent Marianne Milligan said her client hoped to get a place at addiction recovery centre Teen Challenge. Sheriff Susan Stokeld deferred sentence until next month.
