A man has admitted dangerous driving following a crash with a taxi.
Andrew Friel pled guilty via letter at Aberdeen Sheriff Court over the incident on May 6 at Windmill Brae, Langstane Place, Dee Street, and streets in between in the city.
The 28-year-old drove at excessive speeds, overtook another vehicle causing it to take evasive action, failed to keep a look out and give way at a crossroads, swerved onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a taxi.
He also admitted failing to stop and provide his details following the crash, and failing to report the collision to police.
Sheriff Philip Mann deferred sentence on Friel, of Union Grove, Aberdeen, until later this month for his personal appearance.
