A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following an alleged robbery at an Aberdeen shop.
Joseph Bissett, 41, appeared in private yesterday over an incident at Nisa Local on Heathryfold Circle last Thursday.
He faces a number of charges including assault to injury, danger of life, attempted murder and robbery.
He is also charged with two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, one of acting in a threatening and abusive manner and one of assaulting or impeding police.
Bissett, of Aberdeen, made no plea when appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
The case was fully committed and he was remanded in custody.
