An Aberdeen pensioner has been given a supervision order after flashing at a woman.
Steven Skinner, 69, appeared for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to intentionally exposing his genitals in a sexual manner to the woman at an address in Aberdeen.
The court previously heard the incident, on July 4, happened in the woman’s home.
Speaking on behalf of his client defence agent Alex Burn said: “It’s just a misreading of the situation.”
Mr Burn also indicated his client had “significant difficulties in understanding things”.
Sheriff Ian Wallace ordered Skinner, of Monach Terrace, Aberdeen, to be supervised for 18 months and to undertake the joint sex offenders’ programme.
He said: “This is a sentence that requires you to pay back to the community for the crimes you have committed. I’m satisfied this is necessary because of the nature of the offence.”
