Graeme Fyfe, 44, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday over the matter, which happened at John Lewis in the city’s George Street on Tuesday. He pled guilty to stealing a gift set containing hair straighteners. Fiscal depute Sally McAuley said the gift set was worth £170 and had been recovered. Defence agent Lynn Bentley said: “The item was not for Mr Fyfe. It was, in fact, a gift for his long-term, now ex, girlfriend.
