A man has admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis following police surveillance of vehicles in Aberdeen.
Laith Binnie, 33, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
It comes after police raided a property following “intelligence and surveillance of motor vehicles at Marchburn Avenue”.
Depute fiscal Colin Neilson told the court a drug search warrant was granted and executed.
He said Binnie was found in the kitchen area where three bags of a “green herbal substance” were also discovered.
It later tested positive for cannabis.
Mr Neilson said the bags contained 306g of the drug and had a maximum street value of more than £5,000.
Around £7,500 in cash was also discovered at the address.
Binnie, whose address was given in court papers as Fowler Avenue, Aberdeen, pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Defence agent Jennifer Pritchard asked for sentence to be deferred for reports.
Sheriff Jack Brown called for a criminal justice social work report and restriction of liberty order assessment and deferred sentence until November.
Binnie was granted bail in the meantime.
