Three men appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with an alleged disturbance in the town.
Police and ambulance were called to Meadow Crescent around midnight on Monday amid reports of a disturbance involving as many as six people.
David Arthur, 27, of Elgin, and Tyler Enterkin, 19, of Forres, were both charged with two assaults and one assault to severe injury. They both made no plea and were remanded in custody. They will appear in court again on Tuesday, October 7.
Kyle Hill, 21, of Elgin, was charged with assault to severe injury and made no plea. He was granted bail and his next appearance is still to be confirmed.
