Two men and a woman have appeared in the dock after police seized £500,000 worth of Class A drugs in Aberdeen.
The trio was charged after officers raided a property in the Mastrick area of the city on Saturday.
Natalie Hay, 29, Anthony Mahon 31, and 27-year-old Lee Macrory were arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs.
They appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday where they made no plea.
Each was committed for further examination and granted bail.
Both Hay and Macrory gave addresses in Aberdeen while Mahon gave an address in Glasgow.
Drugs bring ‘nothing but misery’
Following the arrests, Detective Inspector Robin Sim said: “Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and I want to reassure the people of Aberdeen that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
“Our work often relies on the support of the public, so if you have any information or concerns about drug misuse, do not hesitate to contact police on 101 or report this anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
