An islander who admitted driving dangerously while disqualified will be sentenced next month.
Donald Martin, 21, of Caravan 1, Lee Ardturn, Bunessan, Mull, appeared at Oban Sheriff Court today.
He pleaded guilty to driving at excessive speed and hitting an animal on the road between Fionnphort and Bunessan on August 21.
The charge states he accelerated whilst approaching a crest on the road, hit the crest, causing all four wheels to leave the road, the car to collide with a verge and overturn whereby the vehicle was damaged and passengers were injured.
Martin also admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Sentence was deferred until December 9 for background reports.
