Joshua McLaughlin, of 12 Sutors Avenue, Nairn, admitted drink driving on Camperdown Road in Nairn in the early hours of June 21. He also pleaded guilty to driving carelessly and without insurance McLaughlin’s Ford Fiesta damaded a Fiat Punto and a Vauxhall Vectra which were parked in the street, fiscal depute Fraser Matheson told the court. Defence agent Rory Gowans said: “These are the actions of a foolish immature young man.” Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood fined the 18-year-old a total of £1,390 and banned him from driving for 15 months.
