Police caught three men with a £34,000 drugs haul during a raid on a rented property in Aberdeen, a court was told.
Lloyd Brown, 28, Harry Rodgers, 25, and Anas Sakhi, 22, were all caught with cocaine and diamorphine at a flat in Richmond Terrace on March 5 2021.
Brown, from London, who has spent 52 months behind bars for drugs supply, denied all knowledge when caught and claimed that he was at the property to cook for the others.
He admitted separate charges of supplying cocaine and diamorphine at the High Court in Glasgow, his third drugs conviction in the UK.
Rodgers, who was sentenced to 30 months for a previous drugs supply conviction, and Sakhi also pled guilty to their involvement.
Police forced entry
The court heard an English warrant was issued for Sakhi and police forced entry to the property where he and the two others were based.
Brown had rented the property on February 5, with it due to expire on March 11.
He had also hired a Volkswagen Passat.
Various items for drug dealing were recovered during the search of the property.
Packages of powder
Prosecutor Chris Fyffe said: “These were on open display which included packages of powder on the mantlepiece and scales.
“In the bedroom, there were fully open packages of powder and numerous small wraps as well as cash on top of the chest of drawers.
“There were a number of mobile phones through the flat which constantly rang during police attendance.”
Some of the drugs recovered were found hidden within a speaker in the bedroom.
£34,890 worth of drugs seized
The three men were arrested and found to have a total of £709 in cash on their person and a tick list was recovered from the Volkswagen Passat.
Mr Fyffe said: “Brown was interviewed and denied knowledge of the substances. He said he was at the address to cook for them”.
The court was told that £9,270 worth of diamorphine and £25,620 of cocaine was recovered.
Judge Lord Lake deferred sentencing until next month, pending background reports and the trio were remanded in custody.
