An Inverness film development officer has had her sentence further deferred due to outstanding court matters.
Trish Shorthouse, 52, was due to be sentenced for lashing out at officers at Burnett Road police station in Inverness on July 11, 2014.
She previously admitted obstructing Constable’s Joan Columbine and Laura Stewart, and Sergeant Carol MacDonald, in the custody suite at the police station.
Shorthouse, of Muirtown Terrace, was to have been sentenced yesterday at Inverness Sheriff Court but the case was postponed pending the outcome of a separate matter due to come before Glasgow Sheriff Court later this month.
She will be called before Inverness Sheriff Court again on January 28.
