A man was caught with more than £1,000 of ketamine and ecstasy in his underpants – at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
Kyle Torliefson had just been sent to custody after appearing at the city’s sheriff court – but was searched before being carted off to HMP Grampian.
It was during the search that staff found the illicit stash hidden inside the 32-year-old’s underwear.
Fiscal depute Tom Procter told Aberdeen Sheriff Court 73 ecstasy tablets were discovered, worth £365 to £730, as well as 11.91g of ketamine worth £440.

He said Torliefson had just been sentenced to custody on December 18 2019 and, after being taken down to the court cells, was searched before being transported to the prison.
Torliefson admitted possession of ketamine and ecstasy.
Sheriff Eric Brown jailed Torliefson, of Abbotswell Crescent, Aberdeen, for three months.
