Two Aberdeen men have appeared in the dock at the city’s sheriff court charged with serious assault.
Austin Forbes, 44, and Darren Walsh, 55, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court each facing charges of assault to severe injury, possession of a bladed weapon and vandalism.
It comes after Police Scotland confirmed that a 46-year-old man suffered stab wounds at a property on Hazlehead Road on Thursday, July 14.
It is understood the alleged incident happened at about 1.15am.
Both men made no plea at the behind-closed-doors hearing and were committed for further examination.
Forbes and Walsh, who both gave addresses in Aberdeen, were remanded in custody ahead of another appearance scheduled to take place within the next eight days.
