A woman made a chilling late-night threat to her neighbours by shouting in the street that they should not “mess” with her or she would “kill them all”.
Eve Crawford, 23, appeared in the dock at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted behaving in a threatening manner towards her neighbours as she walked down the street.
When police officers responded to a report of her aggressive behaviour by one resident, Crawford repeatedly bit, kicked, punched and spat at them.
She also used racial and homophobic slurs against the constables.
The court heard that one neighbour was awoken by Crawford shouting: “Don’t mess with Eve Crawford or I’ll smash your windows and kill you all!”
Fiscal depute Carol Gammie told the court that at around 2am on November 24 last year Crawford was heard to shout the threat from Wingate Place in Aberdeen.
Police then attended at Crawford’s home and found her in her flat.
“The accused immediately became hostile towards the officers and shouted at them, calling them ‘p**fs’ and ‘c**ts’,” Ms Gammie said.
“As a result, was cautioned and charged with threatening and abusive behaviour and was told that she would be taken into police custody.
“When being taken outside her flat the accused kicked one constable to the right thigh.
“The accused was restrained to the ground and was placed in handcuffs, at which point she grabbed another officer by the hand and scratched him.
“The accused then turned her head towards another officer and bit him on the finger.
“She then further bit another constable on the leg.”
The court heard that officers were then forced to place Crawford in leg restraints.
‘Meltdown’ blamed for accused’s behaviour
As she was taken to the police van, Crawford then proceeded to spat at one of the constables.
As Crawford was being booked in she then became verbally abusive calling one officer “a slanty-eyed b***h”.
When asked about the assault on the officers, Crawford told police she was having an “autistic meltdown”.
She pleaded guilty to one charge of threatening and abusive behaviour and prejudice relating to sexual orientation, and four changes of assault.
The court heard that Crawford was also on bail at the time.
Sheriff Morag McLaughlin deferred sentence on Crawford, of Wingate Road, Aberdeen, in order for a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order to be carried out.
