A would-be clubber refused entry to an Aberdeen nightclub for being too drunk physically attacked staff and pushed her way inside regardless.
Rocha Lynch shouted at the bouncer “who the f*** do you think you are?” after being told she wasn’t getting into Prohibition at around 11.25pm on February 2 this year.
After barging into the Langstane Place nightspot, Lynch went on to assault another member of staff before police arrived to find her being restrained on the ground, Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard.
Fiscal depute David Rogers said Lynch, 19, ignored the bouncer’s rejection and tried twice to gain entry before arguing with her.
He said: “She was shouting and swearing and asked ‘who the f*** do you think you are? I am going in’ before forcefully pushing past her and flailing her arms around her head.”
A male member of staff inside witnessed this and went to try to help escort Lynch away from the club, only to be lunged at too.
When the female security guard stepped in again she was hit on the head and seized by the hair before her male colleague managed to bring Lynch to the ground and restrain her.
Police officers found the man straddling Lynch, who went on to act in an “extremely erratic manner” as she resisted arrest, struggled with officers and kicked one in the leg.
She also refused to get into the police van and demanded a cigarette, the court heard.
‘This was just a very drunk woman lashing out’
She admitted two charges of assault, two of police assault and one of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Defence agent Kevin Longino said: “She was extremely intoxicated but that’s in no way an excuse for her behaviour and she does accept that. She was so intoxicated there was no realistic level of force.
“This was just a very drunk woman lashing out when not getting her own way.”
Sheriff William Summers told Lynch: “Your behaviour was disgraceful. The fact you were drunk is no excuse and you should be thoroughly ashamed of your behaviour.”
Lynch, of Sycamore Road, Banchory, was handed 120 hours of unpaid work and a one-year supervision order.
She is already on a community payback order after being found with cocaine worth £5,000 in May last year.
