Two men have appeared in court on “offensive weapon” charges after an alleged fight on an Aberdeen city centre street.
Police were called to the outside of a flat on Jasmine Terrace, just off King Street, late on Sunday afternoon.
Three police vehicles could be seen parked on the street as a number of officers dealt with people nearby.
Now, two men have appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the incident.
Kevin Donegan, 28, and Paul Harper, 34, both of Aberdeen, are each charged with breach of the peace.
They’re both also accused of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Woman to appear in court at later date
The two men made no plea and were remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination.
They’re expected to re-appear in the dock again within the next eight days.
A 24-year-old woman was also arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance but she’s expected to attend court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 4.20pm on Sunday June 11 2023, police were called to the Jasmine Terrace area of Aberdeen, following a report of a disturbance.
“Two men, aged 28 and 34, and a 24-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.”
