Four Aberdeen Football Club fans are to go on trial accused of inciting public disorder at a Scottish Premier League match earlier this year.
Brothers Matthew, 23, and Andrew Mellis, 17, are alleged to have got into a fight with Cameron Burnside and Gregor Murray while attending a home game against Motherwell last season.
Prosecutors claim the four young men behaved in a threatening manner and fought with one other during the match at Pittodrie on March 13, which Aberdeen won 2-1.
Burnside, 18, of Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, and Murray, 17, from the city’s Broomhill Road, are also alleged to have been in possession of alcohol inside the ground.
Burnside is further accused of being drunk at a designated sporting event.
All four men appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, where they denied the charges against them.
A trial date was set for December.
Burnside was released on bail, with the special condition he does not attend matches at Pittodrie.
The Mellis brothers, from Cairnview Place, Laurencekirk, and Murray were ordained to appear at the trial hearing.
