Sentence had been deferred until yesterday at Inverness Sheriff Court for a background report on Shaun Robertson, of 7 Old Milnafua Road, Alness.
He had previously admitted on October 30 last year in Rose Street, Inverness driving with an alcohol level in excess of the old limit.
Robertson also admitted driving without insurance.
Willie Young, solicitor said: “He was in the company of others in a car park in a retail area and he went to manoeuvre the car in the car park.”
