A Moray man who threw his mother’s tumble dryer and hoover out a third floor window has been jailed.
David Sharp has been locked up for four months after going on a rampage in Buckie over the summer.
The 32-year-old, of Room 23, Royal Hotel, Forres, destroyed various furnishings and acted threateningly outside a residence on High Street after being denied entry on June 20.
Around 4am, police eventually found him passed out and topless in the stairwell outside another property on High Street holding a 2.5 gram bag of cocaine.
The following day, at his mother’s home in Forsyth’s Close, Elgin, he threw a tumble dryer, hoovers and other furniture from her third floor window.
Finally, on July 22, along with twins, Claire and Sonia Stewart, both 29, of 38 Glenesk Road, Lhanbryde, he was caught on CCTV breaking into a neighbour’s room at the Royal Hotel with a crowbar, a circular saw and a nail gun.
After admitting to their roles in the last offence with Sharp, Sonia Stewart was given 180 hours of unpaid work, whilst Claire Stewart had sentence deferred for six months for good behaviour.
