Window cleaner James Montagu, 2 Ben Alder Court, Aviemore was fined £300 after he failed to answer the door to police because he was too tired.
The 25 year old was still in bed and drowsy when the police came to check that he was abiding by curfew conditions that he remain in his home overnight, defence lawyer Marc Dickson told Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday.
Montagu admitted a breach of special bail conditions which occurred at the week-end.
Mr Dickson added; “When he was told the police had been at his door, he went to the police station and turned himself in the following day.”
