A man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged raid at an Aberdeen shop.
Shaun Coutts, 23, of Aberdeen, appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court yesterday charged with two counts of drug possession and attempted robbery.
Last month, police were called to Roslin Stores on Urquhart Road after receiving reports that a man wearing an Iron Man mask had tried to rob the shop.
The store’s shopkeeper Sivakumar Thengavelavthem fended off the disguised thief by beating him with a fan.
Coutts made no plea or declaration during yesterday’s brief private hearing, and was released on bail until his next court appearance.
