A builder who sexually assaulted a woman at a house in Moray has been placed under supervision for two years.
Andrew Scott, 36, was found guilty of the offence after a trial at Elgin Sheriff Court.
The court heard that he made “lewd and suggestive” comments towards his victim and grabbed her and straddled her.
The court heard that Scott, of 51 Leishman Drive, Dunfermline, still denied certain aspects of the charge against him despite the woman’s ordeal being caught on a CCTV camera at her home.
Sheriff Chris Dickson said Scott had already been placed on the sex offenders register and ordered him to remain under supervision for the next two years.
The sheriff added: “This behaviour was highly inappropriate and sexually motivated, it must have been extremely upsetting for the woman.”
