An Aberdeenshire man has denied bombarding his ex-girlfriend with text messages, raiding through her rubbish and trapping her in a driveway.
Colin Ritchie is accused of causing his former partner fear or alarm with his actions.
The 51-year-old allegedly repeatedly turned up to her home “uninvited”, entered her back garden and looked through her bin.
He is also accused of making a series of persistent phone calls and text messages to the woman, some of which were sexual in nature.
Ritchie, of 21 Stewart Road, Alford, is also charged with repeatedly ringing his ex’s door bell and blocking her from moving out of her driveway using his own vehicle.
He is further accused of preventing her from leaving her own vehicle, shouting and seizing her, and grabbing her mobile phone.
Ritchie entered a plea of not guilty yesterday when his case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. He will reappear next month.
