An Aberdeen man has denied breaching a red light and causing a crash whilst almost four times the legal drink drive limit.
Rene Zuikov appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday accused of ignoring traffic signals on Wellington Road, Aberdeen, and colliding with another vehicle.
He is also alleged to have got behind the wheel with 182 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millimetres of blood.
The prescribed limit is 50mg in 100mm of blood.
The 40-year-old has denied both incidents which are alleged to have occurred on November 2, 2015.
Zuikov, of 57 Menzies Road, Aberdeen, is also accused of driving at “excessive speeds for the road and road conditions”.
He will return to court in August.
