A group of pupils at an Aberdeenshire school have been granted another award for their environmental efforts.
The “Global Gang” at Mill O’ Forest primary school in Stonehaven have secured their seventh Green Flag accolade from Eco Schools Scotland.
The gang, which is made up of a small number of pupils from primaries one to seven, were elected by their fellow pupils and meet weekly to discuss projects to protect the environment.
For their seventh Green Flag, the pupils focused on projects connected with water, food, waste and the environment, as well as a day of Fair Trade action.
The gang even shared their success with royalty when they met the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay during their recent visit to Stonehaven.
Pupils and teachers who worked hard to achieve the gang’s latest Green Flag have thanked the parents, families and local community for their help in achieving their green goals.
