An “invaluable” volunteer is needed to shape the future of the north-east’s approach to climate change.
Climate Ready Aberdeenshire (CRA) is seeking applications for a steering group chairman or chairwoman.
The chosen candidate would work with like-minded professionals from across the region.
The position will be held between 2020 and 2023.
Peter Argyle, Aberdeenshire Council’s infrastructure services committee chairman, said: “The chairperson of this group will play an invaluable role in providing leadership and direction in forging a coherent and comprehensive strategy to tackle one of the most important global issues locally in the north-east.”
It requires an estimated commitment of approximately 10 hours per month, including steering group meetings.
Applicants are invited to submit a paper of no more than one side of A4 to promote their candidacy to Climate Ready Aberdeenshire Secretariat, Tara Murray, at tara.murray@aberdeenshire.gov.uk by Friday, 24 July.
