Police in Nairn are appealing for witnesses to a suspicious incident in Auldearn.
Between 2pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday September 7 a young woman was walking past a stationary car on Lethen Road, Auldearn, when the driver attempted to engage her in conversation.
A police spokeswoman said: “The woman was uninjured but alarmed by the incident and police are keen to establish the full circumstances.”
The car is described as mint green in colour and possibly an “S” registration.
The man is described as in his thirties, with short brown hair and an English accent.
