Police have appealed for witnesses to an assault in Fort William
Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old woman was assaulted by four men in Lochaber.
The incident occurred at around 5pm on Friday on the path from Victoria Road to Fassifern Road in Fort William.
Acting Inspector Andy Bilton said the men shouted at the woman, who lives locally, and threw a stone at her.
He said: “She suffered a minor injury and was very frightened by the experience.
“We are keen to clear this up as quickly as possible and would like to speak to anybody who was in the area who can identify these males.”
He added that the men were wearing sports clothing and appeared to have been drinking in the bushes on the path.
