Connel Bridge forms the start of the A828 Connel to Ballachuilsh road and is the main route between Oban and Fort William. Reports from the scene said that during the closure there was traffic tailing back as far as Poppies Garden Centre, Dunbeg. It has now reopened and traffic is flowing.
