Police in Aviemore are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at the Forest Cottage within the Rothiemurchus Estate.
The fire was reported to emergency services at around 8.20am this morning.
It was initially reported to the Estate visitor centre by two passing cyclists and police are appealing for them to get in touch as they may have information that could assist with the investigation.
No one was injured as a result of the fire but the building has been completely destroyed.
Anyone with information about the fire, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area of the Rothiemurchus Estate, Loch Morlich or Loch An Eileen, should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
