Police in Wick are appealing for witnesses following an incident in the town’s Riverside car park yesterday.
Officers were alerted to the incident around 5.30pm, which involved a man approaching a vehicle within the car park, alarming the occupants, before making his way to Bridge Street, where he was arrested by attending officers.
As part of ongoing inquiries, police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the man in the area of the car park between 5pm and 5.30pm.
The man is described as being of average build and height, short dark hair, wearing glasses and a black tracksuit jacket.
