Young musicians from Ardnamurchan High School have visited two local villages as part of a programme of village hall tours.
Bad weather last Wednesday limited attendance, but those who were able to brave the elements in Lochaline were welcomed by MC for the evening depute head, Simon Patterson, and hugely enjoyed the talented performances.
Better weather for Thursday’s event in Acharacle, helped draw a larger crowd with an almost packed hall enjoying the performances as well as the refreshments.
Ardnamurchan High School Parent Council chairwoman Teresa Bolton said: “It was a fantastic array of talent. Well done to all especially Miss Anderson for her enthusiasm, encouragement and boundless energy.”
Head teacher Christopher Millar-Craig added: “The village hall tours give us an opportunity to go out to the villages within the catchment of Ardnamurchan High School and give something back to the communities that support us.
“We’re very proud of the talent of all our young people and this is an opportunity to share this with parents and partners in the area.”
