It is the ultimate dream – to spend your days travelling the world.
For the Gee family, that dream is a reality.
Father Garrett, a tech millionaire who sold a mobile scanning app to Snapchat for £37million – set off with wife Jessica and children, Dorothy and Manilla, on the trip of a lifetime last year.
Since then the Gees, dubbed the Bucket List Family and originally from Utah in the US, have been keeping everyone up to date with their adventures online – everything from swimming with sperm whales in Dominica and exploring the ruins in Athens.
Earlier this month the family landed in the UK, taking in the bright lights of London before heading north.
Today they posted a picture of some Highland cows, announcing their arrival at Loch Ness.
On their website the couple say they were planning to do what everyone else does and “grow up” – build a house and settle into careers. But then they decided they weren’t quite ready for that.
“We feel like we still have so much to learn about life and happiness before we can set up our future life and home,” the website states.
“That’s why we started our family bucket list. We decided as a young family that now was the time to form healthy habits and create traditions that will hopefully shape us into better people the rest of our lives.”
