Police have launched an investigation into the theft of car wheels in Nairn.
A large number of wheels, worth about £500, were taken from Henderson’s Garage at Balmakeith Industrial Estate between 8.30pm on Monday and 2.45am on Tuesday.
Police said: “The quantity of wheels that have been taken indicate that a vehicle has been used.
“We are keen to speak to anybody who was driving on the main A96 near to or within the Balmakeith Industrial Estate during the evening of October 17 or early morning of October 18 who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles at the garage properties as you enter the estate.
“Likewise anybody who has been offered second hand alloy wheels in the last week.”
