VIDEO: Amazing footage captures conditions in Northern Cairngorms

This is what the Northern Cairngorms looked like at the weekend.

The footage was captured by Gary Hodgson, of Tarmachan Mountaineering, a mountain guiding company.

It was recorded at the Fiacaill Coire an t-sneachda in the Northern Cairngorms, near Aviemore.

Gary was out on a training weekend for two people who are on an expedition he is guiding to Patagonia.

The group will be climbing the third highest summit in Patagonia and spending two weeks on the Southern Patagonian Icecap.
