A funeral is to be held on Saturday for a Highland man who died on his “most treasured” yacht moored in the Dornoch Firth.
William Macfarlane, who was known as Billy, was found dead on the trimaran, Anlin, on Friday night.
It is understood that relatives raised the alarm when Mr Macfarlane, of Ardgay, failed to contact them.
A search and rescue helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth was sent to the scene at Ardmore and a winchman went on board but Mr Macfarlance, who as in his 70s, was pronounced dead.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Macfarlane’s death.
The trimaran was towed to Ferrypoint by Dornoch Inshore Rescue.
He leaves a wife, Greta, two daughters, Anne and Linda, and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place at Inverness Crematorium on Saturday at 10.30am.
Donations may be given to the RNLI and Dornoch Inshore Rescue.
