Fire crews have freed a person trapped in machinery at a Highlands industrial estate.
Emergency services were called to the Evanton site near Dingwall at about 8.30am today following reports of somebody stuck in equipment.
Two fire crews from Dingwall and a heavy rescue unit from Inverness helped free the person before they were taken to hospital by ambulance about an hour later.
It is understood the person’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A fire spokesman was not able to confirm what type of machinery the person had got trapped in.
He said: “We assisted the ambulance service with removing a person trapped in machinery. Crews assisted in releasing one casualty.”
