Luxury apartments have gone on the market ahead of the conversion of a landmark former hotel in the Black Isle.
The Victorian-built Marine House in Rosemarkie served as a care home until May last year but has stood empty ever since.
Work has now started on renovating the property and the project is expected to be finished by next summer.
A total of 11 two and three-bedroom apartments are now being marketed off-plan.
William Gray Construction bought the building through its sister company Ark Estates in June and has was recently granted planning permission.
The development is being sold through Strutt & Parker and prices range from £225,000 to £450,000.
Each property will have its own unique layout, from a garden level apartment to a third-floor home with a large glass balcony and stunning views. Most of the upper apartments will have lift access and residents will benefit from secure entry and private parking.
Kevin Maley, Partner in Strutt & Parker’s Inverness office, said: “The conversion of Marine House is a landmark development in the Highlands and the apartments will be characterised by an impressive specification and stylish interior design.
“Marine House is an imposing traditional sandstone Victorian property just a stone’s throw from one of the finest beaches on the Moray Firth. There is a considerable interest in, and excitement about, the building’s future and we have already several inquiries.”
Plans for the project were submitted in August and gained blessing from locals.
Marine House is located about 14 miles north east of Inverness on the Black Isle.
The area is famed for its scenic beauty, dolphins and is an excellent base from which to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as golfing, sailing, hillwalking and fishing.
