Police are urging drivers to lock their vehicles after thefts from two cars in Newtonmore and a garage in Grantown.
The thieves struck overnight on Wednesday, snatching electronic equipment and a tool-box.
Sergeant Richard Ross said: “Members of the public are reminded to secure their property at night and when left unattended for any period of time – ensuring windows and doors, outbuildings and vehicles are locked and valuables are kept out of sight.
“Sensor security lighting is also advantageous in deterring an opportunist thief. Having valuable items security marked also greatly increases the chance of them being returned.”
