Police have issued a warning to motorists this morning after two drivers were charged with drink-driving offences after being involved in separate crashes overnight.
A 41-year-old man was charged after his car left road on the A87 at Balmacara at around 9pm.
The driver was taken to Broadford hospital for a check over and has now been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A second man, 62, has also been charged after his vehicle left the road at Stathie Hill near Plockton, Lochalsh.
The driver was also taken to Broadford hospital before later being reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed both men will appear before Inverness Sheriff Court at later dates.
They added both drivers could face lengthy bans.
