A young north architect who disappeared in India in mysterious circumstances has reportedly been found.
Lachie Stewart, son of the founders of upmarket design brand Anta, was working on a project in northern India.
But his 30th birthday passed this week without him making contact with his family in Ross-shire – and they got in touch with the Foreign Office and police to register him as a missing person.
After an international appeal for information, his family updated a social media page this morning to say Mr Stewart has been found.
The post read: “Lachie has been found. Thanks for all your help!”
Mr Stewart’s parents, Annie and Lachlan Stewart, founders of the Anta Scotland pottery and textiles business, by Fearn, had last been in contact with Mr Stewart while he was in Delhi on December 7.
