Crews called to fishing boat fire in Stornoway

Fire crews were called to a blaze on a fishing boat in Stornoway.

The fire has taken hold in the engine room of a 39ft vessel docked in the harbour.

Three units from Stornoway and Port of Ness attended and equipment including breathing apparatus and hose reel jet were used.

The alarm was raised at 1.33pm and the stop message came in at 3.56pm.

There was no one on board during the incident.
