A public meeting is to be held in Kinlochleven ahead of the arrival of Syrian refugee families.
The Lochaber village is the second Highland community to take in refugees after Alness.
The meeting will be held on Monday, February 6 at 6.30pm in Kinlochleven High School hall.
Among those represented at the meeting will be Highland Council, police, NHS Highland, Voluntary Action Lochaber, the Department for Work and Pensions and High Life Highland.
There will be opportunities at the meeting to explore ways in which local residents can contribute to the project, both in the first few weeks and in the long term.
